In the case between Mrs. and Mr.


Well, the case was announced as above, with her name first. That means she divorced him. But why would she? Seems more likely he would divorce her. It also matches up with the fact that his case went first, and then when her case started, Fletcher said, "Respondent calls" the male witness. So, she is the respondent, means husband was the claimant. So, I was confused up until he said respondent, because when the case was first called it was backwards.

I'm sure this doesn't bug anyone but me. I enjoyed this movie for Jim Carrey's hilarious non-lies and his physical comedy.
