Liar Liar is great but Dumb and Dumber is my favorite of his films.

Apart from having Jim Carrey act in both movies, how are the movies related?

Liar, Liar is an unique and uniquely funny movie. Nothing compares to it.

However, Airplane! and its sequel come pretty close.

I prefer dumb and dumber, because of the funny traveling adventure. I like those kind of movies a lot.
