So are we supposed to believe that Wayland faked his own death with drugs the old woman gave him? Then what was the medics' diagnose of his cause of death? Looking at what he did to himself (falling from the chair onto the desk with the lie detector, oh the irony!) it must've been something like a neck fracture.

I can't understand why his parents didn't try to know the truth about the death of their dissolute but ONLY son. Neck fracture or drug iverdose or anything else - when someone dies in prison his family has their right to know the answers of the authorities. His father could easily blame the police for killing his heir.

He paid off lots of people - the paramedics, the funeral director, etc. The medical examiner would've been paid off too, blackmailed with some secret(s) he was able to find out, or the death certificate could've been simply falsified. And considering the money Braxton left in Kennesaw's desk - he may have been bribed into the conspiracy.

shareI would have to go back and watch it again but I thought the paramedic who loaded him into the ambulance was at the bookie's place when roth went there to get the absinthe/drugs. It wouldn't be that hard to pay someone off and I think that they bagged him so quickly is proof someone did. This is an extremely wealthy man from the upper crust of society. They aren't bagging him up like he is some drunk bum. They spend time trying to revive people in that social class. My question is don't most police stations in major cities have internal morgues, and wouldnt there be an autopsy by the coroner (harder to buy than just a doctor because of their affiliations with police) of someone dying in police custody)
