Was Janine Turner too attractive to play June Cleaver?

I'm not saying that the original June Cleaver, Barbara Billingsley wasn't an attractive women in her own right during her youthful "prime", but Janine, w/ her supermodel/beauty pageant contestant like looks really took the MILF vibe to the extreme here.

Are you joking? Billingsley was a model too.

Turner was not more beautiful than was Billingsley at the same age. That's not to say that Turner is ugly.

At comparable ages, Billingsley was hotter than Turner in every category.
