Your spelling and grammar is atrocious. Your post is barely coherent.

And even if English isn't your first language, you're wrong.

This movie is a masterpiece.

A movie doesn't age, it's immortalized on film forever, only you and your perspective ages.

Nice statement! All truly great movies stay great with time.

This movie is currently #102 in the Top 250 Movies, and has a 90/100 rating on Metacritic. But I guess the public and the critics are all wrong and YOU are right. Not.

Go watch some "farm pig family movie".

Even though the IMDB message boards are about to vanish, I'm going to proceed with putting you on IGNORE.

Just because.

Perhaps the OP just wants to reach out for some sense of community.

The hell? OP would’ve had a point if he actually attempted to make one.

Now, the one thing I can kinda see where you’re coming from, is the 50's setting does feel rather... artificial. And no, the reason I say that isn’t necessarily due to the film being a 90’s production. Update: I used to thought the way the time period was depicted in this film felt/appeared both overstylized and understylized (if that makes any sense). But nope… having rewatched it for the first time in years, its aesthetics aren’t flashy like those of numerous period films, if you will. For some reason I remember it being flashier, lol. All in all, they got the effect they went for (realism).

Anyhow, this has gotta be a troll post. L.A. Confidential is a bangin’ film with a great cast of ACTORS that nailed their roles.

reply

"Chinatown" definitely did a better job recreating its period.

The production design is spot on, and THIS was Best Picture in 1997, not Titanic, not by a long shot.

reply

This has to be trolling.

In USA cops bang prostitutes, yes
