So many wtf's (SPOILERS)

I haven't read the book, but so many things bothered me about this film.

1. When Kate was abducted from her house. She wakes up, hears there is an intruder in her house, and breathes as loudly as she possibly can and doesn't immediately call 911. Instead she loudly walks around her house. Also that breathing sounded dubbed. Plus she crashes into the fish tank but doesn't get up. Why? I'd understand if she broke a leg or something, but she was fine. Why just sit there and whimper?

2. When Kate escaped and was found, why didn't she tell authorities that she ran for a few minutes then jumped into a waterfall? Then the authorities could follow up the river until they reached a waterfall and then search the area within a quarter of a mile. Voila, they'll find the victims. Nope, these FBI authorities are too stupid.

3. In LA, they follow the suspect into the bar and Kate wants to go in. She knows her abductor knows her and would recognize her on sight. Why not wear some kind of disguise if she wanted to ID him?? And how in the world would she know it was him in the bar??? Seems impossible to suspend disbelief.

She didn't tell them that she jumped into a river cause she didn't remember. He had drugged her up on something and that's why Morgan Freeman had that session with her so she could spark up her memory about where she was. Also at the end after she cuffed him to the stove and he cut her she still could have ran out the door! There was nothing wrong with her legs only her arm lol.

What happened to the two cops that were outside? They didn't hear all the commotion at her house?

All they had to do was follow up river from where she was found and search the area. Stupid movie....

But the one thing she did not do was call out "is anyone there?"
