i just bought this on dvd at walmart! my family & i (ages 43,41,17,11,9,7,5 and 3) watched it tonight. we all very much enjoyed it. it is a good clean family movie.

Glad i'm not the only one who likes this movie. I use to have it on VHS before they started coming out with DVDs but lost it somehow. Glad to know they have it on DVD, i've never been able to find it, but now that I know Walmart carries it I'll have to check the next time I'm there.

We watched it at school today after reading the book. My friend Alexis cried on the part where they bury James.
shareIt's available on Hulu now. I just watched it with my 7yo and he loved it (and won't stop asking when he can learn to shoot an arrow). I loved the book growing up and I thought this was a great family movie.
