who climbed the cliff?

As the film opens we see Mimi paddling to one of the great tepuis (vertical-walled plateaus) that dominate the Venezuelan jungle. Next we see him climbing the 3000-foot face alone and unroped. I find it hard to believe that Sam Huntington performed this feat (even with a cleverly concealed harness) but I saw no mention in the credits of the climber's identity. Does anyone know who it was?

It was probably done with the real actor climbing against a green screen and his image was then superimposed on a matte of the actual cliff. That technology has been around since at least the late 60s, perhaps longer.
