that guy can make me laugh so hard throughout this film, the way he goes crazy with his family, and the whole coffee deal with the russian mob. I loved this movie it always makes me laugh, sure they didn't come up with the plot themselves, but the comedians do a really great job.
Martin Short has got to be one of the funniest and most talented actors out there. He definitely was excellent in this film! He and Tim Allen are a great team.
Which scenes were your favorites? Mine were when Mimi-Suku first shows him the spider, and when he sees Mimi and his daughter in the hammock, the conversation that ensues, and, of course, the entire scene where he tries to break down the door all the way to when he and Tim Allen break through the balcony. 'I'm a parent, so I'm an idiot.' 'I was the one putting the moves on him.' 'TELL ME I DIDN'T HEAR THAT!'
I liked watching him try to break down the door.Or when he went balistic over his fish. Also like it when they were fighting the russian Mob that his daughter accidenly hit him in the head with a flower pot.One last thing I found funny was when he was hiding under the desk when his boss was yelling for him and tim allen,or when they forgot the number of knocks they were supposed to knock when they were first meeting the mobster.Martin Short was so halarius in that movie.
Loved him in this film. EVERY scene with him in it made me laugh (including those mentioned above, I also love it when Richard freaks out in the car as Mimi-Seeku shows him Miteka)
Yeah, he was amazing! One part that always cracks me up is when Short is on the phone about the coffee deal and he's like, "what was that?...oh, he hung up." It's a real small moment, that I'm sure Short probably improvised, and it's hilarious!
i like when he's talking to the Russian boss about the deal after Tim Allen leaves, and Short goes "WE HAALFF DEEEUL?" all puzzled because he completely misunderstood what the Russian guy said
