Directors Interview

During this guys interview I could not help but feel a bit of anti-US sentiment here and there. That’s OK because we are all entitled to our own opinions. However, he really should stick to directing and NOT politics and social commentary. Not many people alive now remember Pearl Harbor as much as those that remember 9/11. Seems he is trying to downplay that. Not only that but he calls the US stupid and says our films are not diverse. I have to disagree, besides this film, I have never seen anything but 98% Japanese people in their cinema. No blacks, certainly no Iranians, have I ever seen in ANY Asian films. If he means the topics, then still we are as diverse if not more. When was the last time you saw a Japanese sci-fi film? And I don't fantasy or action films like the Godzilla series. And I have seen a lot of US, Japanese, etc. films.
