Maybe I'm just completely out of it, but I cannot figure out if Eleanor was pregnant and that Susan was Jacey's being raised by Alice or not. It sure seemed to allude to the fact that Jacey knocked up Eleanor and that Susan was theirs. Anyone?
shareNah, Susan is Alice's... In the first party segment, Doug narrated, "(The Abbotts) were celebrating a very expensive shotgun wedding. Alice Abbott was already two months pregnant" and I think it's with Peter Vanlaningham, since Jacey wasn't interested in Alice then.

shareBut she was supposedly not interested in Peter, either, since Pam says it was more or less an arranged marriage. So either was Pam lying about it to hide the truth, which doesn't seem like her, or someone her parents didn't approve of knocked her up and they made her marry Peter.

Alice was pregnant at the time of her wedding, but I felt that Eleanor was sent away because she too was pregnant. Her father did not approve of Jacey, so he wasn't going to let her marry the guy who knocked her up. I think Jacey looked longingly at the baby because he thought that Eleanor had been pregnant.
I also feel that Pam had been lied to about the circumstances that Eleanor went away under. She has shown that she has a big mouth and probably would have blabbed about Eleanor having a child out of wedlock.
Pam says later on that her father sent Eleanor off to "some mental institution."
I don't think she was or got pregnant by Jaycee.
