Sort of like an episode of The X-Files

I borrowed this from someone's DVD collection and found it to be not so exciting, but interesting enough to want to see it through to the end. The copy I saw had serious colour problems - what little colour it had made everything look greenish, especially peoples' pants for some reason.

The story line could have easily inserted characters from The X-Files. The story line is right out of their series and the second half of the film is spent chasing an alien and his pregnant human hostage (or so it seems to the police) through th woods as they try to get back to his ship.

Imagine Mulder, with a reluctant Scully in tow, trying to find them because he understands the alien needs to save his race by introducing a new born through a human female, while the cops follow corrupt govt. officials orders to try and stop him, blinded by the truth.

I won't be watching it again but the acting wasn't too bad. I prefer seeing Daniel Baldwin playing bad guys rather than heroes though.
