Help with research paper

I have a research paper where I am to look at originals and there remakes. I’ve wrote down a few pointers that I aim to look at and tackle. I was hoping if anybody on here has also watched both movies and has anything constructive to say that will help me and add to my primary research.

All comments will be useful and will be (as stated above) used as research for my paper.

• Has the Remake been kept faithful to the original feature, scene for scene, scripted and characters?

• If not, then what new direction has it gone down? Have they gone back to reinterpreting existing material (book or play)? A change of atmosphere, the leaving or adding of characters, developing the plot, a new focus, what have they changed

• And is it inferior or superior to the original, why? Cinematography, Shorter or longer, better acting, the way they have retold the story, how have they improved it or ruined it, has it become a different movie altogether, can it rightful bump shoulders with the original.
