To play devil's advocate - in a way, it could be. Had she not chose to date both characters at the same time, the unfortunate events that played out would not have happened to her. Chad and Howard would have found another woman. What makes this movie interesting (to me) is the fact that no major character (including Christine) is 100% innocent. Chad is a power-driven alpha male to the -nth degree, Howard is a weak person who allows himself to be persuaded and influenced by a tool like Chad, and Christine obviously has no clue how dating works. However, I will say that I felt the most sympathy for Christine, a little sympathy for Howard, and absolutely none for Chad.

Disagree. People date multiple people all the time.

True, and I personally find it to be in bad taste...
