Is this on DVD?
I am looking for this movie on DVD. It must be Region 1 (American). I have found this in Region 2 but it won't play on any American dvd players. Does anyone know where I can get a copy?
shareI wish I could help you. I'm hoping that the new James Bond movie triggers a seismic interest in Daniel Craig's earlier work and possibly motivates a DVD release of The Ice House. Used VHS sells for 26 bucks and up on Amazon.com, a little pricey I think. I can't even find out when and if it will ever re-air on PBS. If anybody out there has any news of a possible release, please share!

Thanks for the reply. I actually thought about getting the UK dvd but was worried that the format they use wouldn't work on US players. I went ahead and coughed up for the VHS but it's taking forever to arrive. I'd like to know how your UK copy worked for you though.

I live in England Jet, so it wasn't a problem for me.
I have ordered something on a Region one disc. I hope I can diddle with a DVD player so I can play it!
I rented this on VHS at my local library. Granted I'm pretty lucky to have a library that stocks all obscure things British, but in the future, before shelling out a bunch on amazon for a tricky region 2 dvd or vhs, you might want to check to see if your library carries what you're looking for.
