German DVD edited / censored?

The run time for I Want You is listed as 87 min on IMDB, but the German DVD is only 84 min. Would somone please tell me wether the German copy I purchased is edited or censored? Thanks.

I would probably think it is due to the fact that the conversion from NTSC (American system) to PAL usually speeds films up by about 4% (so I'm told...), hence this version is a few minutes shorter.

Thanks. That seems to makes more sense than an edited or censored DVD, I had no idea conversoins sped up / slowed down films.

If you look at the frame rates PAL and NTSC play at it sticks out like a sore thumb: PAL = 25 vs NTSC = 24 (23.976). So there has to be a difference.
