DVD... Censored?

Bit of a strange one this, but bear with me...

When I first saw this film, on (UK) Channel 4's "Animation Night" back in 1999, the infamous sex scene had a bit where we saw Grant from behind, with his rear-end and balls thrusting toward the camera. An odd thing to remember, but it stuck in the mind, like so many other things.

Ten years later, and I get the DVD - the sex scene's still there (naturally), but the bit with the balls isn't! Just thought that was a bit odd.

I understand that there was an R-rated and unrated cut. Maybe your DVD is the R-rated version.

The rear-end and balls thrusting are indeed included on the unrated version of the DVD as are bits of other footage that I noticed that aren't on the R-rated DVD, however the print used for the release is unfortunately extremely faulty which I detailed in a separate post on the board. Really hope a company like Criterion restores the complete original version and gives it a proper home release.
