Pictures on Ben Willis wall

A the end of the film, we get to see the killer's boat with all these pictures on the wall : articles from the press, pictures of the kids hanging together, articles about Helen, ...

But we also see Helen standing with her crown at the parade....but IT WAS LIKE 3 HOURS AGO !!!

Did Ben Willis went to the local printing shop to get a picture and run to his boat, stick it on the wall and went back chasing the kids ?

reply

Yes. He did. Or perhaps Will did it for him.

Probably more than 3 hours ago, the other parade was in the middle of the day. He probably went to the one hour photo service. It seems to me he was waiting for it to be dark anyway.

Yep, but WHY ??? It doesn't make sense at all.

For the last year, the killer was alone, scheming his revenge so it makes sense he collected all these articles from the press and he took pictures of the kids the last few days.

But was it really a need to take and print photos on the day of the killing ?
He was busy chasing the kids, spying on them, killing them, running after them, hiding the bodies and leaving notes. Wasn't that enough ?

Because he had time to spare and because he's just plain psycho. The other pictures he took in the last few days didn't really serve any purpose either. He just got a kick out of it, I guess.

I've always thought of how silly that was, although it's never really bothered me. Like others have said, maybe the character is just that crazy? Lol.

It would've been better if the pictures were Ray and Julie talking at the dock (I don't think that was one of them, right?) or Barry threatening max. Moments the audience already witnessed and were led to believe were private. Or even Helen and Julie parked outside Helens house.

Or… what if they were photos of events that hadn’t happened yet..??

Think about it.
