Similar surprisingly great but not widely popular films?

Hi there,

Hurlyburly is definitely one of my favourites, one of the reasons being that it is simply not so well known, at the same time it is almost perfect in terms of dialogues, depth of characters, actors, etc.

Do you know similar movies where I would wonder why such an amazing piece of cinema hasn't been recognized by the wider audience.

Anything by David Mamet (or just based on his plays) like 'Glengarry Glenn Ross' and 'House of Games' or Neil Labute like 'My Friends and Neighbors' and 'In the Company of Men'

I pretty much watch anything Kevin Spacey is in.

"The Big Kahuna" though is a pretty unknown one that I thought was amazing....!

Has anyone mentioned "Roger Dodger" yet? Jesse Eisenberg's first film & stars an engrossing Campbell Scott as "Roger".
