I'll even go as far as to say I detest this film. The twist at the end is bull$hit! What self respected woman would do that to make a point?
The movie does have some funny parts, but it is far from great. Bill Belamy is far from being a player. If he was, he'd been pimping women on the streets. Ice-T is a player. Most average looking guys would have pretty much no chance of scoring with any of the women in this film, least of all Bill B. I'm sure he jumped at the opportunity to do this flick after reading the script and seeing how many woman would be on top of him in a bed. The movie is still funny, but the acting is pretty bad. This is definitely a man's movie. Women will not find much to enjoy here unless they like Bill B. Otherwise they should stay clear from this flick. It would be like men watching Little Women or Friend Green Tomatoes. The rating is definitely too high. A 5 rating average would be about right for this film overall.
shareWhy does it matter? It's a old ass movie that's basically been forgotten. It's a classic among Black Comedies. Sure you can call it garbage now, but when it came out, it's a Cult hit.
