When is someone gonna come up with a funny weed movie....they haven't attempted it for years, still to no prevail. Friday and Next Friday have some funny moments, along with many other movies, however name a movie that is about weed/has a strong weed element that is good!
Cause I'd watch it (Supertroppers is the only one I can think of that is remotely close to a good ol' laughing!)
harold and kumar is ok, half baked is not bad, but we really do need a excellent weed movie. i need to see some more cheech and chong i have only seen still smokin and based on that film cheech and chong are so over rated.

I so agree! Cheech and Chong is hit and miss... every now and then they have a real corker, however on a whole, they rather suck!
I thought Half-Baked was good enough to be the new quintessential weed movie. Don't get me wrong, Cheech and Chong are the kings, pratically inventing a genre, but Half-Baked does have that "make you wanna smoke-out effect".

Yeh Friday is awesome, yeh i do respect c&c for inventing the genre, but come on you know what i mean. One thing about half baked how come when they are hittin the bong does no smoke comes out when they exhale??

Still Smokin is a poor example of Cheech and Chong.
Their good movies are "Up In Smoke" "Nice Dreams" and "Next Movie"
some of my favorites to toke up to: dazed and confused. rolling kansas. high times flicks. the life aquatic w/steve zissou. festival express (documentary about the legendary tour) if you're into good music, i love to enjoy a good concert or docu about a band on dvd. good one = fearless freaks. (flaming lips) i also really enjoy watching episodes on dvd of Arrested Development and Six Feet Under.

My favorite stoner movie is Grandma's Boy, i liked it better then How High, Half Baked, both Cheech and Chongs. I thought it was so crazy.

ok i love dazed and i understand smoking to that film oh man thats so sweet whats rolling kansas and high times??? and life aquatic it looks good on the trailor but i have seen royal tenenbaums and i found that boring, seeing this is from the same people uuummmmm cant make my mind up about it.

IMHO, The classic "Tell Your Children" aka. "Reefer Madness" (1936) has no equal when it comes to absolute hilarious portrayal and overdramatized propaganda of regarding marijuana. Reefer Madness II: The True Story (1985) wasn't so bad either however with every sequel there is always to problem of compliance with the original. I thought the former was especially funny because I remember seeing it in the theatre (when You were aloud to smoke in them) and the theatre reek of marijuana odor. I guess you had to be there to appreciate said humor of it all. I wonder if when "Reefer Madness" first came out if the theatres smelt that way too. :)
Anyway thats my 2 cents (Oh shucks! can't get something for 2 cents any more)... OK! then here's my nickel's worth (Darn! can't get anything for a 5 cents either)... OK! I got it, how about my dime's worth (Oh! wait you can't get a thing for 10 cents either)... Alright, can I get anything for a bleedin' quarter? probably not!
