Excruciatingly painful to watch...

I can honestly say that I have seen thousands of movies in my time on this retarded planet. Unfortunately watching movies is what I do for a living. I have seen the top 10 films from every year starting from 1937 to the present. I've seen virtually every single "major" motion picture from the 50's 60's 70's, 80's and 90's. I've seen hundreds of Hindi, Japanese, Australian, Russian, Italian, and Latin films most of which having titles I could neither pronounce nor translate. I haven't seen all that many films from the 2000's but probably somewhere in the range of about 1500.

Having briefly described my range and depth of viewing films I must say that this movie "Home Fries" is without a doubt "one of" the worst movies I have ever seen in my entire life. It is certainly in my bottom 10 possibly my bottom 5.

If you grasped the magnitude of my experience in watching movies even though I'm no expert, film student, critic or professor, you have to believe it says alot by where I ranked it.

I'm not going to critique this movie for you or even give you the basic story line, all I'm going to say is that Drew Barrymore has received enough of our sympathy over the years for being a mentally retarded person hacking it in the entertainment industry for as long as she has, the writers/directors/producers should be charged with some sort of crime and the actors should at the very least brutally murder their agents. The paying public should be allowed to piss in the face of anyone who had anything to do with this film whenever we feel like doing so for the rest of our lives.

I'm not interested in hearing from you if you actually liked this movie for that would mean you are a moron void of all sense.

William Money and his mom were extras in this movie but their scenes were cut. The test audience just couldn't hold down their popcorn when they appeared onscreen.

Just kidding. I just couldn't resist.

I doubt you will ever see this response..............however, I still need to reply to your pathetic post.

You are a loser. Yes. You are. I could give a poo about the movie but your nasty comments about Drew Barrymore......

You are a genuine loser. I hope you are a better human-being in the other aspects of your life.

I'd call someone who continues watching a movie that gives him pain more of a moron than anyone who likes it.

I'm curious about a couple things if you're still around.

Just what is it that you do for a living? Why would watching films be what you do for a living, yet you're not an "expert", you're not a critic, film professor, etc.

You've seen the "Top 10 for every year" according to what/whom?

Why are you saying that this film is so bad, yet you don't say one thing that you think is bad about it? What does the film do wrong, in your opinion?
