I haven't seen this crap since I was in fourth grade...and well, I don't remember anything about it being particularly good. lol Seriously, I wouldn't even bother to rent it, or watch if it was on television.

I don't think it's that bad. If you like Xena, it's curious to see animated versions of the characters we love, but it isn't definately the show. It's in fact more similar to Hercules or Young Hercules, and its target audience is clearly children, but you can watch it as something different inspired in Xena and Hercules.

It's worth watching if you wanna see at least one more crossover team-up between Xena and Hercules, with Gabby and Iolus along for the ride. The two series didn't do many compared to other universe-sharing shows, this one fits between the last team-up in the concurrent Seasons 3/2 and the final time Xena sees Hercules in her fifth season. It's not nearly as high production value as the Disney animated film, more on par to how the standard TV cartoons looked in the 90s, but the designs are decent enough and we get all the cast returning (including Ares!). You can see events that would've been impossible on the live-action TV limits and Xena break out in song, what can be better than that?

Average. Decent premise, and film overall, but it probably could have been better as a big budget live-action theatrical feature.
