Meg

She is the best thing about this movie. Her character is very real, and tortured. The naive, honest hero and Meg really come together. I liked the romance of the film, and the song Meg sings. "I won't say I'm in love."
Her character saved the film from being forgettable.

I like Meg too, but I don't think without her the movie would be forgettable.

reply

It's all ready pretty forgettable, lot of characters no one cares about. No one is real.
She's good even for a movie that isn't animation.

reply

In my opinion it's not forgettable.

reply

The movie would be nothing without her.

My wife and I just discussed and agreed on how Meg is the worst part of the movie. The way she's written, the voice, all of it. Cannot stand the character.
Don't get me wrong, she's necessary for the story and the basics of her character are appealing, but she was directed so poorly.

Meg is a sympathetic character. We can't be sure of her at first. Then she shows that she is vulnerable and susceptible to love.

Meg has always been one of my favorite Disney women. Like you said, her character is very real, more so than other Disney heroines, and she's imperfect in a lot of ways, but that's a lot of what makes her awesome.

reply

Not only is Meg a very real and relatable character, but she truly redeems herself after setting up Hercules. Meg ditched the typical damsel-in-distress role and saved him from the falling pillar, which resulted in the restoration of his strength.

Yea Meg and Hades are the true stars of the film.

"Notice how I ride side saddle, it proves I'm a lady of quality." Witch Hazel

Probably the most underrated Disney heroine. Next to Kida from Atlantis.
