Recently bought an entire Horror section of an old movie store and was going through some of the vhs tapes and found this box... It has a thin vinyl insert full of blood like substance to give the front cover a more eye catching quality.
Just though it was neat as I never have seen it on any old vhs tapes.
Still haven't watch the film yet, but the packaging alone puts it near the front of my queue. lol
It's awesome that you bought the entire horror section! Once my friends and I went through a huge amount of VHS tapes that were being sold really cheap (a dollar or less) and we bought an insane amount of tapes (one of my friends paid for all, but a few). We found some hard to find movies in there that were only on VHS and a whole ton of movies we NEVER would have heard about otherwise. We basically just looked for the coolest covers and picked out the movies that way. We still haven't watched the majority of them, but it sure is fun to know that at any moment we could pull out a random movie and see what happens!

all the video stores near me that had this on VHS had the 'blood cover' with the weird reddish purple liquid oozing through it
shareu do the same thing i goto my local charity shops and i have some real goodens and i get em for 5 - 10p each. horror VHS tapes are the way to go.
