I like the driver

When I was watching this movie, I really felt a keen interest in the driver. Everything he did and said I felt I would say or do in that situation. I felt like I was watching a movie about A1nut driving a cab. Like he was me and I was him. Sounds strange maybe, but that's how I felt.

That doesn't sound strange. That is superb acting.
He nailed it, and brought it through, right to your consciousness.
