Easily the worst movie ever put on film

You folks that say this is your favorite movie clearly don't get out much. I found this movie arbitrarily on my video shelf, left there by a former roommate. And being a promotional copy there was not text about the content of the movie on the box. So I put it in, with high hopes, maybe something about the devil in the car, or whatever. And I watched and watched and watched, waiting for a character to be developed, or a story to happen or... something that required more skill than is possessed by a first year film school student. By the end, my roommate and I felt that we deserved an award for watching such an awful piece of drivel. There is no content, and the people that find meaning in this are reaching. Really really really reaching. Independant film does not always equal good, and this is the proof.

I disagree. The worst movie ever put on film would have to be 'Manos': The Hands of Fate. This movie is a pretty decent 'day in the life' production.

And I suppose you'd prefer films where the cab explodes every 2 seconds and arnie comes out with lots of guns?

This is a film that people can relate to which is why so many adore it and so many hate it. Obviously you have never had to deal with the public so you probably thought clerks was rubbish too.

haha i love this comment... i suppose youd prefer films where the cab explodes every two seconds and arnie comes out with lots of guns?, that should be put in a movie or somthing. anyways chicago cab is defenatly not the worst film ever made, simple is good, and if that guy dosnt see meaning in this movie he should defenatly go back to primary school.

What? Showdown in Little Tokyo is a cool movie.

I don't like this film, either. The structure pretty much prevents you from getting involved with the "story" very deeply...and there's something pretentious -- that I can't quite describe, sorry -- about all these stars dropping in for 1 minute cameos.

Is this supposed to be some incredibly "worthy" piece they all did for free? The only reason I can think of that they'd all appear is because they want to be remembered by the producer, John Cusack, for bigger projects.

This might be interesting on stage, with about 6 actors playing all the roles, but I don't think it works very well at all as a movie.

Evidently you've never seen Transformers 2.

I agree. Boring boring boring. Not one 'enjoyable' fare except the last one.No reason to see this string of nasty, grumpy, narcissistic, drunk, rude, uninteresting etc etc passengers.
