Would you recommend buying it?

Hi. I have not seen this movie, but am a big RC fan and am considering adding HB to my DVD collection. What did you like most about it? Are there good romantic scenes, and is it a keeper? Thanks.

Don't Bother!

I don't know what else Crowe was doing eight years ago, but this movie was C class, at best. The plot is childish and the conclusion not only predictable but inevitable. The girl's English is way too good for the context of the plot and the only believable thing is her husband going bonkers. Don't waste your money.

Thank you. I have seen it via Netflix since my original post, and I tend to agree with you. I never mind watching Crowe, not matter what he's in, but this one just didn't make the grade. Thanks again.

wtf!!!!!!!!!!!!!?!???? bad mouth this movie?
nup. now you listen to me. this movie is grand - it's a lovely little romance, totally surprising in places, blood and guts, the girl and the boy love each other and are sweet, there's a wheelchair accoridan player. Just go into it with no real expectations. except for the wheelchair guy i just told you to expect. bloody hell, you've got to get into the early russel crowe when he talked all quiet and had all that status acty power going on. romper stomper!

I would recommend this movie since it shows Russell Crowe at his best.
It is most unusual in that movie is very violent but also very romantic.
The slow dance scene with the 2 lovers to the BeeGees music "Don't Forget to
Remember Me" steals the show.

I picked it up for about two quid on Amazon (which included shipping). For that price you really can't go wrong and it's a very watchable film. Reminded me a bit of 'Bonnie & Clyde', with the same inevitablility about the whole saga.

Oh, and Russell Crowe looks hot, even with the sideys, which is always a bonus in my book.
