I'm not sure if I got this right. I believe this event was covered in a episode of "Heart of Courage" hosted by Alex Trebek. A series back in 1993 that told some pretty remarkable true life story's of survival and rescue. I think it only lasted one season. Does anybody else remember this? It might of only aired in Canada. Anyway, a pretty incredible act of heroism by Royd.
