Why does the wife write to mehmet at the end?
She is writing to Mehmet at the very end telling him that she has just visited with Mehmet's mather and sister. Where is Mehmet? It sounds like Mehmet is in prison.
shareThe wife didn't visit, she stays in Istanbul and continues the renovation on Hamam, and probably will stay and become the next 'Madame' there. About Mehmet, I'm sure he's not in prison... I think he just left because Francesco's death was unbearable for him.
