I just caught most of a rerun of Gunshy on Showtime's Flix channel. I think I'd seen it before, but had forgotten all the details, so it was new to me! It's pretty well done, with good actors keeping the project a cut above. I'm always curious about music, and saw your post just before the end credits [someone should give the soundtrack listing to IMDb for documentation - I would, but it's 5:30 a.m.].

The track you wanted is in fact called "Three Hearts" and is written by Italian keyboardist Paolo Rustichelli, who has played with some big names and might be considered a progenitor of "chill-out" music. The sultry vocalist is Brenda Lee Eager, who had a bit of a hit in 1973 on a duet with Jerry Butler, and has sung with a wide variety of famous musicians across rock, jazz, and R&B genres.

Both Paolo and Brenda can be found on allmusic.com and Amazon. Brenda can be found at www.brendaeager.com, which also links to her MySpace page. She seems to be primarily a gospel singer now. Paolo can also be found on MySpace and at his own site, www.paolo.org, where you can buy the mp3 of "Three Hearts" off of his album Cinematik for around a dollar. Doing a search for either artist should bring you to their respective websites.

Good luck!
