Continuation of How the Queen came into being

I watched as my mothers flesh burnt and crumbled up before my eyes. My heart seemed to bleed and my inward feelings of a perfect life were minced into nothing! I went back to the cottage. It was cold and the wind swept through it as if my mother was still there. Gustaf was huddled in the corner, shivering like a poor little mouse! I pity him. He has learned greatly on my mothers ways. Then my eyes looked toward a door. Of course, the forbidden door! The door which i must never open. Mother had told me this many times. I silently crept over. Gustaf seemed to be saying no, but I refused to listen. The door opened with a creek. I lit my scarlet candle and made my way into the cellar. It was dank, and a funny odor filled my nostrils. Books with strange titles surrounded me! In the darkness, though, i could see another light! It was me! Then a voice, from the dpths, said, "Claudia, you will be fine. You shall be mistress!"
