Just watched the DVD again and ...........

I have to tell you I really liked this movie and it's a hell of a lot better than some of the dribble that's coming out of Hollyweird these days.

Not only did Don Johnson do a fine acting job, Dermont Mulroney and Patricia Arquette did great jobs theirselfs. Ellen's acting was a nice surprise too. Glad they changed the ending to have her character live and not killing her off in the end.

The story had some good plot twists and some good double and triple-crosses to keep you interested in the movie.

All together it's a good movie with excellent actors being directed by a fine director. Definately worth a watch if you get a chance. It's part of my DVD collection now.

Hope you enjoy it as much as I have.

I just watched the film and i thought it was great. I didn't realise it was 10 years old. Its a great film and i agree better than most of th *beep* coming out of the US.

Totally agree. I thought this movie was very interesting, dark, full of twists and best of all, Ellen was awesome as the smart-azz, in-yo-face detective. I come from a cop family and this is the way 'dicks' talk - on and off duty.

I picked up the DVD for (don't laugh) $0.50 cents at a local flea market...only saving grace of this film is the DIRECTION...otherwise the story itself is pretty weak & somewhat predictable...I'm offering it up as a "freebie" on this trade site I frequent.
