The point is, studies is one thing, and the way you conduct them can have different results. These studies are greatly hypothetical and don't take into account the fact how the same participated people would choose/act in real life, rather than on some blanket picking a variant.
I'm also 6'4, so i should be on par with the tiny manlets according to this study LOL. Though interestnigly in real life it's not the case for some interesting reason.

I accidentally wrote 3. I am 6'4. By manlet i meant that according to my showed study only 300 girls chose guys in 6'4 range, while in 6'3 thousands. So based on this shift alone these studies are hugely flawed. Girls just try to vision how a 6'4 guy looks like, to them he may look like a weird lanky-tall, so she doesn't choose this, while 6'2 is perfect because she has heard somewhere that 6'2 is considere the best choice and/or maybe some hot public figure she tends to know is this tall. Or maybe her brother is that tall. Who knows, right? These studies are mostly skewed. It would be better if they made studies where tall, normal and short guys with different body styles stood together, and thousands of women had to choose. That would give a better and more accurate picture, perhaps.
And sure there are short guys who are really social and/or know how to talk/seduce women, of course he will have a better chance than some good-looking weird acting asperger guy who is just tall. To give you a little extreme example.

My friends have started to use the term "manlet" lately, so it has drilled itself in my skull. But it's a very straight-on word describing little men. :=)
And i'm going to iterate myself: If you're average height-wise, that means yuo're short. Gameover. Nobody likes average. Here younger generations (16-28) are 6'1+ on average defintiely, the national average is brought down by men 40+ And it's mesmerizing how the kids are taller like a foot portion compared to their parents these days here.

Exactly! I think it's funny all these guys talking about what women want and find attractive. It's a whole lot of talk which makes me think they are Insecure. It's like the guys who always kiss and tell. They are usually the ones who never see any action. In any case, I am a woman and I also agree that Matt Damon is hot. I have no idea how tall is and don't really care. The reality is that height doesn't factor in when judging a Hollywood star's looks because the camera and editing can mess with it and make them look as tall or short as they want. Also, when selecting a man, height is pretty low on my list of desired qualities. Hopefully the original poster and his buddies will read the replies by the ladies on here and be enlightened but I won't hold my breath.
