Not exactly, Billy. It's about two guys who meet up on a train as they're returning to Indianapolis after serving during war time. They went to high school together...Jeremy Davies plays the nerd who has a hangup about sex and Ben Affleck was the cool guy in school. They're both trying to figure out what they're going to do with their lives. And yes, Ben is a babe magnet, and because of him, Jeremy gets some action....but there's more to the movie than that, and there are some pretty strange scenes....
When you watch it, keep your eyes open for a scene that was shot in Fountain Square, which is just south of downtown Indy. A woman is outside a store sweeping the sidewalk.....but her broom never touches the ground. This was made on a very tight budget of about $3 million....Mark Pellington, who did "Arlington Road" directed. Dan Wakefield, who is from Indianapolis, wrote the sort-of-biographical book the movie is based on...and check out some of the other people in the movie who went on to bigger careers....
