What happened to Annie and Glen?

I know that Annie and Glen are only referenced a couple of time in the film in which Randolph mentions that they allowed Jessie to join him as their research assistant. I Guess Glen and Annie stayed behind and were looking after Elvis. I was wondering why is that Randolph called Glen Ben which seemed strange?
