Is Firelight available in widescreen DVD for U.S. viewers?

Years ago--before folks began really monitoring their products on YouTube, I guess--I saw Firelight on YouTube in both full screen (the old-fashion standard format) and wide-screen (letterbox) format.

In full screen version you miss some stuff that is off to the side! It definitely needs to be viewed, in my opinion, in widescreen/letterbox format.

But the last time I look on Amazon to purchase it, it seemed to me that the only widescreen version is for Europe. The version that you could purchase for North America is not widescreen.

Is that still the case? If so, does anyone know if there is a place you can get a widescreen version for the U.S.?

I purchased the dvd through Amazon with Korean lettering. It is close up and I noticed on pictures from the movie, especially the love scenes, the side of the screen is cut off on my version. I would love to get the widescreen vedvd ! I live in America but have a British dvd player. Let me know what you find out and if anyone else has some info about this please let us know ! 

I don't think you can buy it on US DVD yet but I did find it the rent/buy in HD/SD on itunes. I have that same Korean DVD copy and the picture quality is okay but I am so happy to find a US version in high definition!
