I rewatched this recently and I have to say... Yes... It's still better than Star Wars...

No, this film is a complete mess with way too many annoying characters, like hyperactive Chris Tucker. The whole movie is actually way too hyperactive.

that's what I love about it... the shear rediculousness of it!

so over the top in the most pleasing way...

Its a film I liked better on second viewing. I would still watch Star Wars over it, but I do enjoy 5th element more than I did when it first came out. However there is no worse cinema sin than Chris Tucker.
