They can analyze DNA of Fifth Element and know it's an advanced being & then have enough technical knowledge to reassemble it from just a hand, but they apparently have no idea it will be female until process is over?

I agree I thought that ever since I was a little kid.

But now that I'm older and realized we live in a heavily masculine based world....I'm guessing they never evendors stopped to wonder about the gender. When we think of Earth's savior we think of Jesus...aka a man...

Nah. I made a post about this years back. Even if they never checked the computer to see what it was reconstructing(yeah freaking right, the scientist was monitoring it the whole time), they would have seen a lack of penis, and the addition of breasts long before the process was complete.
It was done for cinematic/story telling reasons, so I am okay with it, but it makes no sense.

It's just not an important part of the reconstruction process.

Did you catch how long the DNA sequence was? They probably could have determined the sex if they really wanted to, but it would have been a major pain in the ass to sort through all of the data to find out.
