Two directors, and two cinematographers?
Was this film that much a mess behind the scenes? They had to fire one director, and he took his DOP with him?

Apparently after the film was essentially finished and being previewed by test audiences, the producers decided to shoot a new ending. As the previous director and cinematographer were no longer available, they had to hire new ones, Thus the dual credits.
I don't think it occurred because of any disputes; rather it was all about time and who was available and who was not.
