Alan Smith Goal

What was the problem with the Alan Smith goal against Liverpool? Why were Liverpool complaining.

reply

Because they are moaning, cheating gits.

reply

They were claiming it was either offside or handball.

reply

There was a debate on weather or not he actually touched the ball. As it was a in-direct free kick. (meaning it has to be a pass not a shot). And the flight path didn't seem to change so many Liverpool players protested that he didnt touch it and the goal was the result of of the free kick and not Alan smith.
But *beep* the scouse bastards... cmon Arsenal!!!

reply

Screw you *beep* remember the 2001 fa cup final and last year's quarter final. It was just the interest payment, one day we shall make you pay for rubbing in our noses in 89.

reply

ha ha. touched a nerve lol
gd luk on the whole making us pay. you ever win the league like that ill happily buy you a pint and call it even but no amount of fa cups and quater finals is gonna replace that moment.

Oh, as if Liverpool didn't rub Gooners' noses in it for the better part of those "Eighteen f(rea)king years."

Win the league in 1990, then Arsenal wins in '91, then you get the guy who beat you in '89, and then... nothing. It's the Curse of Michael Thomas!

Maybe you should get Sergeant Pepper to replace Rafa. After all, next year, it'll be "Twenty years ago today."

I'm sure you don't know so much about this sport.
many times could be an offside, a foul...
There's no replay as basketball or american football so the decision it's up to the referee
