Koyaanisqatsi Music
I loved Fast, Cheap & Out of Control... but...
Is it just me or is the music in Fast, Cheap STRIKINGLY similar to Phillip Glass's in Koyaanisqatsi?
Fits the film... but I wonder if the composer takes full credit.
It is not just you. Errol Morris has used Phillip Glass music on at least 2 of his earlier films: The Thin Blue Line and A Brief History of Time (I think that's the other).

Caleb Sampson did the music. He later wrote the music for Morris' 'Mr. Death' and his television show 'First Person'.
He committed suicide later due to great depression. I was so sorry to hear that. Sampson's scores will endure, I believe.
