Great insight into real love

Being married myself, this movie speaks to me. Just saw it recently. The whole movie is intelligent, insightful, compelling and provocative. Movies like this aren't made enough, unfortunately. I wish there existed a CD that had the wonderful compiliation of songs that this movie has, but I understand that's not the case. Just wanted to put a shout out about how artistically amazing I think this movie is.

this movie is like a discarded idea for a Sex in the City episode when it was on HBO.

Maybe where you're from it's fun to pick up on blue-collar schlubs for a short-lived affair and then cutting them loose once the money maker comes home to roost?

Regardless, this is one of the most SHALLOW movies about unrequited lust I've ever seen in my entire life.

Naughty-God, given the endless conversations you have about violent gangster movies and the Lord Of The Rings trilogy...your position here is certainly no surprise. I enjoy those genres as well, but I, unlike you, am able to wash the blood-spatter from my eyes and enjoy something else once in awhile, like this film.

If a woman really wants to know what kind of man she has...this movie will settle it once and for all. If you appreciate romantic gestures at all, ladies... and your significant other hates everything about this movie...find another man, simple as that.

Despite its rough edges, questionable acting at times, and its provocative scenes, there are moments of profound beauty here...more than I can think of in just about any film I have ever seen...and I've seen thousands.

This individual clearly doesn't seem to have a romantic bone in his body.

Perhaps it was chopped off by a rampaging Orc as an offering to Lord Sauron.

Ahahahahaha!

You thought by browsing my posting history was going to prove your point about this movie better than my point?

You lose, and I won't stoop to your level by perusing your posting history either.
