If they had different blood types, wouldn't their bodies reject the face

One has 0 blood, the other AB. I'm no doctor but wouldn't there be some kind of transplant rejection?

Well, you could make the same argument in real life with organ and limb transplants that have been successful overall. It would be risky to do this but it's not an absolute certainty the tissues would reject. Also....it's a movie lol.

They actually have an explanation for this in the movie

I don't seem to remember an explanation for how they prevented tissue rejection.
