Perhaps one of the reasons I watch this every year or sleepless night or so is... RC really shows how is love is just overwhelming. It's quite painful on all fronts - cuz he knows he's more than lucky to have it, but so close, later, to loosing it.

The beautiful calm before all the mess. Also who wouldn't be lucky to have Lena Headey's love. Lucky lucky.

That scene of Carlyle covered in blood, staggering around the service station looking for Lena Headey just gets me completely - it's a combination of the look on his face and that Longpigs tune playing on the soundtrack. Brilliant.
shareI was also struck in the end by Ray's overwhelming love for Connie & Stevie. Very touching, very encouraging. Very fine acting by ALL the actors.
