One more goof for the books!

In the movie "The Ex," when it came to a flashback scene where Deidre is picking up her sister to take her to the water to be drowned, I can clearly hear Yancy say, "Let go of her, Nick!" meaning the actor Nick Mancuso. It seems that Mancuso was the holding the actress that poor Yancy was trying to pick up. Had she said, "Let go of her, David!" meaning Nick Mancuso's character, instead of, "Let go of her, Nick!" she probably would've not only saved herself from making a mistake on film, but also she would've saved the film from filmimg that footage in the wrong way. Nonetheless, I think Yancy is a gorgeous actress who not only was convincing in that role, but is probably worth more than what Hollywood and people give her credit for.

In the early 90's I really thought her career was going to take off because she was doing some mainstream roles in movies which were very good at that time even though they were action films.

One of them I believe was when Jean Claude Van Damme was very popular in the early 90's and now all of his movies are direct to video now and then there was a movie I believe she did with Wesley Snipes in Drop Zone I believe it was. That looked like a good movie too!

She is a very beautiful and stunning woman to look at!

Yeah

after that she was also in a decent cop TV series, Brooklyn South, that unfortunately didn't last long (I guess it was a tough job to make it amongst all the cop shows out there) and in a couple "all-star cast" type films ("Let It Be Me" by the director of Dirty Dancing, and "The Treat") that I thought were gonna stabilise her career as a mid-level supporting actress in Hollywood.

And then came Witchblade - a STARRING role in a well-received series based on a popular comic. What could go wrong for her? Well, apparently everything did from then on.

Alcohol problems and a tumble down to z-grade stuff that nobody has seen.

I hope she recovers soon enough - she is a terribly sexy actress with charisma that deserves better material. If only she realises that herself!

Come on, Yancy!

-Goodnight, father of two!

You are correct that she has the talents to be a very good actress there in Hollywood but she needs to get her act together and straighten her life out because if she does not do that then she is not going to get anywhere and it will create more problems for her.

That is very sad because she has been in some good movies and TV shows during her young career that I loved to watch but for some reason it just did not work out too well at all. Hopefully it will all work out for her and she will get back into acting once again.
