Similar movies (demons in space) (spoiler-ish)

Before Event Horizon, there were The Dark Side of the Moon (1990) (no relation to the Pink Floyd album) and G.R.R. Martin's Nightflyers (1987) (yeah, the Game of Thrones guy). Both movies are 80s b goodness, or cheap and dated piece of crap, if you want to be cynical about it. Additionally, you could argue that James Spader's Supernova (2000) tried to be this but then it pulled Sunshine on the viewers. I'm sure there are more less known movies of similar ilk. Any ideas? I'm not counting stuff like Pandorum or The Planet of Vampires, since it's about madness and aliens, not supernatural horror with religious elements.
