What would you say happens...

3 years later? New husband, perhaps? Better relationship with her kids? Elzora had after all told Roz to cling to her kids more.

And who was under the impression that Elzora could have possibly been the cause of Mozelle's black widowness and lack of children?

Good call on Mozelle being cursed by Elzora. I never thought of that but it would make sense. She was primed and ready to curse Mozelle when Eve came to her house that day.

I always wondered about the 3 years thing, but I think maybe it just means she will have moved on and will have a better relationship with her kids. Hopefully. I mean in the film she seemed close to Poe, but with her daughters she was distant. I took her kissing both daughters' heads near the end, when they are all in bed with her, as a sign she was taking a step in that direction.

I would say in 3 years Roz would have come to terms with her husband's death. And since Elzora said "Look to your children," I took that as Roz needs to look to her children in order to see what really happened. I believe after 3 years she would have found out about what happened with Eve, the voodoo, and the kiss, thus having a better relationship with her kids.

That's a good point that Elzora could have been behind Mozelle's curse. I definitely wouldn't put it past her. She did want Mozelle dead.

Speaking of Mozelle, did anyone else take her "maybe God will be kind and let me go with him (Julian)" line to mean that she wanted to die with him? I thought so, but it's so bleak. I'd rather it mean that the curse be lifted so she'll have some happiness in her love life.

Don't eva let nobody tell you you ain't strong enough

I thought that it meant that she was hoping to live a long life along with Grayraven, instead of him dying young.

Elzora was a fraud, a side show attraction. Mozelle knew this.

Also you see Elzora's fraudulence through Diahnn Carroll's excellent subtle acting with Smollet.
