Do you think the father got what he deserved?

I don't. Yes, he was a philanderer, and I am def not condoning that, and it's fair to assume that he had quite alot of karma coming his way, but still... Divorce? Malpractice? Yes. Death? No.

Yeah. In a way, he had it coming. But, then, it was awful that he'd died, though.

I think he deserved to die, but I really hate that Eve blamed herself for it. You can't kill a person with voodoo, but sometimes in a child's mind, the impossible can seem real.

The meaning of “nothing” was “I never told you that I inadvertently killed your father."

He didn't have it coming. But it was very realistic, the violent way some men die. Black men get killed like that all of the time...over something foolish and unnecessary.

In real life scandalous sex very often leads to violence and even death. People get SERIOUS when you start messing around so he had something like this coming. Still I don't feel he deserved it. He was awful for what he did but he didn't deserve death. I think he did love his family and everything but he loved the booty far too much. He deserved to lose his wife and family but not his life.

He didn't deserve to die but he was playing with fire by going off with wives of other men.

Malpractice? how?

Malpractice for having affairs with his own patients, which is a major breach of ethics for a doctor.

He didn't deserve death, but yeah he did have it coming. Louis should have kept his mouth shut when he and Eve were leaving the bar. Lenny told him he was a dead man if he ever said another word to Matty, but he spoke to her anyway. It could have been because he was a drunk, but he was also a fool when he was sober. He thought he was so above everything and didn't care about how his cheating hurt Roz. He loved his kids, but he was also a selfish bastard. Still didn't deserve to die though.

No way. He took care of his family. Watch closely as he is killed. When the killer brandished the gun, he pushed Eve out of the way. He knew he was done for and wanted to protect his family. I'm sure some people will disagree and would argue that he didn't love his family enough to be faithful. Humans are complicated creatures. We can commit ourselves to a family, but still threaten the family by messing around.

^^This. Loved that moment. He was wrong to do what he did but no, he definetely didn't deserve to die, much less in front of his kid. 

He didn't deserve it, but he did sort of ask for it. The guy said, he'd kill him if he spoke to his wife again, and Dr was egging him on, by telling the woman goodnight.

Wow I can't believe people are actually saying he deserved to die lol.. I don't think he deserved to die just for being a cheating dog, but unfortunately he did dig his own grave with his actions.

I did not like him for the treatment of his wife. Roz did not deserve the hell he put her through. He did not deserve to die tho. Still he was a prick. I mean, he should have been grateful to have a beautiful, loving wife but he wasnt.
