Not your typical shoot em' up

Because this film is meant for a more sophisticated audience it is a gem for the DVD age. It begs to be seen often and through different contexts and sensibilities. Bill Pullman with THE ZERO EFFECT, LOST HIGHWAY and THE END OF VIOLENCE carved out a niche for himself with projects that are directed to a highly educated crowd. There's no dumbing down or reaching for the largest audience in these movies. Andie MacDowell is a welcome sight as well in the film along with Daniel Benzali.
